1. Always ensure the lubrication of the saw chain
Lubrication of saw chains and guides is important for the use of chainsaws. The technician said that the saw chain must always have a small amount of lubricant to be pulled out. Do not work without the saw chain being lubricated. If the chain runs dry, the cutting tool will soon be damaged and cannot be repaired. Therefore, be sure to check the lubrication of the chain and the amount of oil in the tank before starting work.
In order to achieve automatic and reliable lubrication of the chains and guides, the technicians recommend the use of high quality, environmentally friendly saw chains and guide oils, such as lubricants with high resistance to aging and rapid biodegradation. If the anti-aging ability is low, the lubricating oil is easily resinized, and hard precipitates which are difficult to remove are formed, particularly on the chain drive member, the clutch, and the saw chain. In severe cases, the oil pump will be stuck. In addition, waste lubricating oil should not be used. Waste lubricating oil does not have the required lubricating ability, and repeated exposure to waste lubricating oil may cause skin cancer, and waste lubricating oil may also damage the environment.
Every time you add fuel, you need to add the chain lubricant. You must ensure that there is some residual oil in the chain oil tank every time the fuel is used up. If the amount of oil in the oil tank does not decrease, it may be caused by blockage of the lubricating oil passage. At this time, check the lubrication of the saw chain, clean the oil circuit, and ask the service dealer for help if necessary.
For new machine tools, avoid unnecessary high-load operation during the running-in period. Therefore, do not perform high-speed idling before the first three tanks of fuel are used up. Since the moving parts must be worn in each other during the running-in period, there is a large frictional resistance in the short cylinder during this period. The engine reaches its maximum power after approximately 5 to 15 tanks of oil have been used. During normal operation of the chain saw, do not adjust the oil mix ratio too low in order to significantly increase the power, which may damage the engine.
2. Always check the tension of the saw chain. The new saw chain needs to be tightened more frequently than a saw chain that has been in use for a long time. Generally, in the cold state, the saw chain is engaged on the lower side of the guide plate but can still be pulled by hand along the guide plate, indicating that the tension is correct. After reaching the operating temperature, the saw chain expands and begins to relax. Do not allow the drive link on the underside of the guide to come out of the guide, otherwise the chain will fall off. Tighten the chain again if necessary. When cooling, the chain will shrink. At this point, loosen the saw chain, otherwise the crankshaft and bearing will be damaged.
3. The use of the chain saw ignores the details
